Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser & Moisturizing Cream

As some of you are already aware of, I love to try new skin care, and this time I'd like to share about my experience with Cetaphil.

Cetaphil has a long and proven record of providing skincare solutions with strong dermatological and medical heritage.

The iconic Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser was founded by a pharmacist in 1947 and was the first skincare product formulated by dermatologists as a stand-alone skin care product gentle enough for all skin types. Cetaphil is the skincare brand recommended by dermatologists.

I received this cleanser around last month, and I've been using Cetaphil for around two weeks.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

I am quite accustomed to foam cleanser so this cleanser is quite new for me after a while (I tried this kind of cleanser long time ago).

Just after few days of using this product I was experiencing PMS and I also have a super red and sensitive skin due to combo treatment that I've received (but totally worth it!).

At that time, I couldn't even wash my face using my usual cleanser. The only one that doesn't hurt my skin is Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. I guess it's because it has soap-free formulation (pH-balanced) which makes it gentle and non-irritating to our skin. It soothes as it cleans the skin.

Moreover, this product can be used for both face and body, so for those of you who has skin trouble on your body, this cleanser can work as your body wash. And just in case you're wondering, this cleanser is formulated to work for all skin types, even for babies.

This product is also travel-friendly as it can be used with or without water. Without water, you can just wipe it with soft cloth.

The texture is quite runny and when you rub on it, there is no foam. It just vanished on your skin. It feels so soft on my skin, especially during after-treatment when my skin is super sensitive and red! The scent is almost none so it's definitely perfect for sensitive skin as it won't irritate due to added fragrance.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

Still talking about my skin condition when it was very red and sensitive, just like cleanser, no moisturizer or cream can work on my skin. I sprayed my face with thermal water a lot, but of course I still need moisturizer as well. I'ver tried Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and it doesn't cause me any discomfort or pain.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is a superior system of extra-strength emollients and humectants that binds water to the skin preventing moisture loss, it gives long-lasting hydration on your skin, keeping it soft and moist. It also contains sweet almond oil, a natural emollient.

During those times (post-treatment), the only moisturizer that works is this one. The moisturizer itself has soft, not too runny, not that creamy texture. It absorbs fast which I love. It is also suitable for chronic dry skin. And just like the cleanser it can be applied to hands, feet, elbows, and knees as well.

The scent is also almost none, yay!

And after 2 days, my skin is recovering fast thanks to the help of these two products! The redness faded away and the irritation decreased. But even after I still use it for my daily cleanser and moisturizing cream. During PMS, I also used this duo is still my best friend because somehow it helps me balancing my skin during those time.

In conclusion, I definitely love Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream because it proved its claim which is gentle and non-irritating to my skin. So I highly recommend those of you have sensitive skin or experiencing post-treatment problems (redness, sore, pain, or exfoliation) to try this product!
